From there I entered the adult world as a Physician Liaison at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA from 2006-2010. I missed the pediatric world and stayed in touch with many colleagues from CHCA and heard that Akron Children's Hospital was hiring. I have been with Akron Children's since April 2010 and have enjoyed watching it grow and being a part of this family.

Bonnie Little, MHA, System Executive Director, Network Development & Physician Relations UNC Healthcare Chapel Hill, NC Bonnie Little has devoted over 20 years of her professional career to the healthcare industry. She currently serves at the System Director for Network Development & Physician Relations for UNC Health Care. She supports physician relations programs at UNC REX Health Care, Nash Health Care, Johnston Health and Wayne Memorial. She originally joined UNC as a Physician Liaison with UNC REX. During her time, the UNC Health Care system has experienced tremendous growth. Bonnie has been instrumental in developing the UNC REX of Wakefield campus, the employed REX Specialty Physician groups, UNC Physicians Network, the North Carolina Heart & Vascular Hospital and the UNC Health Alliance. She has been at the forefront of developing UNC REX into a regional transfer center for Wake County and eastern North Carolina, which has grown tenfold in the last three years. She led the way in developing Physician Relations programs for Johnston Health, Nash Health Care and Wayne Memorial. Prior to coming to UNC, Bonnie served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Franklin Regional Medical Center, HMA.

Bonnie is a graduate of East Carolina University and holds a Master’s in Health Administration from Pfeiffer University. She is also a graduate of the UNC Health Care System Advanced Leadership Academy. Bonnie serves on the Board of the American Association of Physician Liaisons. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her husband and children traveling and skiing.
