Dr. Hein graduated from Dartmouth Medical School in 2001, returned to Maine to complete her emergency medicine residency at Maine Medical Center and served as Chief Resident in her final year. Following graduation, Dr. Hein assumed a position as an attending physician at Maine Medical Center and was honored to be selected as a 2009 American College of Emergency Physicians National Teacher of the Year.
