In addition to his administrative role, Dr. Cacciamani continues in a limited medial practice providing care for inpatients and outpatients and advising residents in the Family Practice Residency Teaching Program at Chestnut Hill Hospital.
Dr. Cacciamani graduated magna cum laude from the University of Scranton and was awarded a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and earned an MBA in Operations and Information Systems at The Wharton School of Business.
Dr. Cacciamani completed the residency program in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed an Informatics Fellowship at the Veterans Administration Hospital and the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics where he helped improve the VA's Electronic Medical Record system. He holds specialty certifications from the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine.
