Susan R. Bailey, MD, an allergist and immunologist from Fort Worth, Texas, was reelected speaker of the American Medical Association House of Delegates in June 2018. After 8 years of leading the Physician Liaison program that he launched at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Montana, Trent Hickes headed east in 2018 to become the Manager of Physician Liaison Services at Cone Health, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. Trent has a passion for coaching and developing leaders, as well as serving others. He and his wife, Calley, partner with FREE International to Find, Rescue, Embrace, and Empower victims of human trafficking. In his downtime, he can usually be found waist deep in his favorite trout stream or spending time with his family, including his five children and one grandson.

Bonnie Little has devoted over 20 years of her professional career to the healthcare industry. She currently serves at the System Director for Network Development & Physician Relations for UNC Health Care. She supports physician relations programs at UNC REX Health Care, Nash Health Care, Johnston Health and Wayne Memorial. She originally joined UNC as a Physician Liaison with UNC REX. During her time, the UNC Health Care system has experienced tremendous growth. Bonnie has been instrumental in developing the UNC REX of Wakefield campus, the employed REX Specialty Physician groups, UNC Physicians Network, the North Carolina Heart & Vascular Hospital and the UNC Health Alliance. She has been at the forefront of developing UNC REX into a regional transfer center for Wake County and eastern North Carolina, which has grown tenfold in the last three years. She led the way in developing Physician Relations programs for Johnston Health, Nash Health Care and Wayne Memorial. Prior to coming to UNC, Bonnie served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Franklin Regional Medical Center, HMA.
